OPERATOR

 JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Background required:

No experience necessary. Experience in production plants helpful. Need hard working self-motivated individuals. Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps and lift up to 60 lbs. Continuous operation requires shift work. Qualified individuals will work at heights, be able to adapt to 12 hour work days, and be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and operate all processes associated with the plant.
  • Learn and operate DCS (computer control system) for the plant.
  • Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut down, cleaning and batching.
  • Keep accurate and timely logs.
  • Respond to collected data and make adjustment to optimize plant operation.
  • Keep plant facilities clean.
  • Do quality control test on product streams.
  • Responsible for notifying Operations Manager of any production problems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to achieve consensus
  • Complete any and all tasks assigned by Operations Manger.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

 JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Background required

Some experience with welding, cutting, gearbox repair, pump alignment, material handling systems, preventative maintenance, and instrument and electrical work. Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 60 lbs, weld, cut and do instrument and electrical work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Remove, install, rebuild, weld, torch, lubricate and clean all equipment associated with the process.
  • Work “On Call” as Scheduled.*
  • Conduct Maintenance rounds and inform Lead Maintenance Tech and/ or Maintenance Manager of any irregularities found. (i.e. abnormal Noises, Odors or leaks).
  • Complete Maintenance Work Orders and turn in Completed Order with as much detail as possible to facilitate parts or equipment ordering.
  • Work with operations to accomplish all tasks in a timely and safe manner.
  • Conduct /Document Dailey Water tests as needed/ notify CMO and/ or Maintenance Manager of results outside set parameters.
  • Discuss any problems with Lead Maintenance Technician and work with him on daily tasks.
  • Learn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilized.
  • Complete any and all tasks assigned by Lead Maintenance Tech/ Maintenance Manager.

GRAINS PERSONNEL

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Background required:

No experience necessary. Experience in truck loading and unloading, rail tank and car loading, skid loader and fork truck experience helpful.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Load trucks with product (DDGs, DWGs, ethanol, distiller’s syrup) using meters, scales or other load-out equipment as required to assure timely shipment of products.
  • Load specified railcars with specified product as necessary.
  • Assist corn truck unloading as needed as well as unloading supply trucks at the plant.
  • Assist other personnel as needed.
  • Strive to be courteous to customers and drivers at all times
  • Keep work areas orderly and swept as required
  • Complete any and all tasks assigned by Commodities Manager.
  • Maintain all Grains transfer equipment with lubrication and light maintenance as needed
  • Place railcars in order for efficient load-out
